Amidst a huge gathering, Kamal Haasan introduce G. Mayilsamy, candidate for Sulur by election. "Youngsters are the seeds of revolution. These young people who have gathered here are the strength of Makkal Neethi Maiam and a threat to the corrupted political parties in Tamil Nadu".
The actor turned politician campaigned at several areas in Sulur constituency including Jallipatti, Senjerimalai, Paapampatti, Paapampatti Pirivu and later to Sulur.
He pointed that opposition parties who promise a complete alcohol ban are trying to fool people, as a complete ban is impossible. "Unlike other parties, MNM will promise to reduce the usage of alcohol. Women safety and empowerment will also be a part of our manifesto. Every women will feel safe after MNM is voted to power", he assured.
Kamal Haasan promised that MNM's electoral candidate, Mayilsamy will strive hard to restore and rejuvenate all water bodies in Sulur constituency. He also apprised that as Mayilsamy hails from Sulur, he is well-informed of all the issues of this constituency.
"This crowd here was not lured with money or alcohol. This crowd represents change, this crowd represents revolution. MNM is well received by the youngsters across TN", Kamal said.
Kamal Haasan concluded his speech by appealing to the voters of Sulur to vote for G. Mayilsamy in Torch light symbol. "A seperate manifesto for Sulur will be announced on May 11", noted Kamal Haasan.
Kamal will continue his campaign tomorrow at Chinniyampalayam, Thennampalayam, Sulur privu, Karumathaampatti, Somanur and also hold a public meeting at Irugur.
